What has been the impact of coaching on you and your work, and those you work with?
‘The coaching sessions gave me the perfect opportunity to reflect on my activity as a leader. Moving from a management role to a leadership role is difficult and the sessions helped me understand how my behaviour and activity need to change so I can be the leader I want to be. The sessions helped me identify gaps in my knowledge and skills so I could develop them. The most beneficial aspect for me has been the excellent recommendation of different models to support decision making and action planning.’
What will you do to sustain the progress?
‘To ensure I sustain progress as a Leader, I need to develop the team and ensure subject leaders are committed to their role so our activity becomes ‘business as usual’. I need to think about my activity and how I develop high commitment levels from staff. I need to be really clear about the evidence of impact of the team and how I will measure this. On a personal development level, I'm going to continue to practise using models provided during coaching so I can make better decisions and improve my effectiveness as a leader.’
What has been the impact of coaching on you and your work, and those you work with?
‘I feel excited and enthusiastic about the work of the team this year. The team approach to quality assurance and raising standards has empowered others and helped develop a sense of ownership. I am clear about the goals and have identified how we can get there. I feel the team has brought about the consistency of message. We are working together with the same goals in mind.’

Real World Group Leadership 360s
The Real World Group's 360 leadership diagnostic focuses on 'leadership engagement' identified through grounded research. The online survey is emailed to team members you identify and whose feedback you will value. Helen is trained and licensed to provide the 90min coaching/feedback session once your report is complete.
